Congratulations to Dr. Yujiao Han on the next exciting chapter in her career! Yujiao will be leaving us to take up a position as Junior Principal Investigator at the Institute of Cancer Research, Shenzhen Bay Laboratory, Shenzhen, China! Yujiao's time in the Kang lab has been marked by truly outstanding work, culminating in a landmark publication in Cell uncovering the role of iron-loaded macrophages in bone metastasis, a finding that opens exciting new avenues for understanding and targeting the bone metastatic niche. We are enormously proud of everything Yujiao has achieved and look forward to seeing her thrive as an independent investigator!
